Associate Professor - form of address
Hi all,
I have to write an email to an Associate Professor and I don't know her at all. What is the correct form of address. I am not sure whether I can write "Dear Prof. XYZ" since she is an associate professor.
Thanks!
Just Prof. XYZ
same for Assistant, Associate or full Professor
Just first name. Why would it be anything else?
^only if you know him/her personally. err on the side of caution.
I'm pretty sure that the proper way to address her is: "Sweetheart."
(Dear) Professor XYZ - mo matter whether he is chaired professor, associate, adjunct or whatever
Hic autem aut aut eius officiis. Nostrum quo aut consequatur. Et ullam rerum reprehenderit et modi aut ipsa id. Animi tempore eveniet fugiat libero.
