B-Schools outside of London, England

Hi all need your advice!

As the title of this topic suggests, I'm eschewing London based b-schools for ones based outside of London. So far, Aston has got my attention. It's highly ranked by the FT and has triple accreditation-a major bonus for me as I plan to work in Asia and America.

Does anyone else know about the Aston MBA program? Would be great to get your views and opinions!

tentopcass business school, bocconi, RSM, and St. Gallen are all well reputed schools in Europe.

Cass is in London and the others are all in continental Europe....apart from that solid advice!

A major drawback of Aston is that it is in Birmingham which is basically a third world city. The same could be said about most places in the UK that don't start with an L and end with ONDON.

why would you ever go to a B-school outside London? In Europe, LBS, Insead or IMD. That's it.

Otherwise you're jsut wasting money and time. If you apply enough times and make enough effort, you'll get into a top 10 B-School.

Said? Judge? Even in the UK, people don't know about those.

The MBAs at Oxbridge are not as solid as their MSc. I guess they're OK (got some insane people like the Winklevoss twins who just lost the boat race), but not on par with INSEAD, LBS and IMD.
