Baruch MSRE or NYU MSRE? Anyone have any insight?
I know this has been posted a lot, but I'm currently thinking if I should apply to Baruch's MSRE program for Fall, or try to get in NYU's MSRE for Spring 2022.
From my research so far, Baruch costs way less than NYU's, but it lacks a lot of the connections that NYU has.
I still owe student loans from Undergrad, and currently owe a decent amount in credit card debt, so debt is weighing quite heavily on my bias.
Baruch is like $16k, whereas NYU looks to be like $80k+. I can do workstudy while in Baruch, which would help alleviate debt. Whereas in NYU, there is no certainty of me getting any internship or job that would chip away at my debt.
Anyone have any experience or input on these 2 schools and their programs?
May want to add Fordham to your consideration also, they have an MSRE program now too
Thanks, do you know if that one is good? It costs 50k, which is in between Baruch and NYU...
I've heard they hiring profs who have taught at NYU and Columbia, kinda following those schools in content, beyond that, don't know much else.
Fordham in general has a great rep in NYC area and in broader region. Not quite NYU but not that much further down.

On a somewhat related note, do you know anything about Pace's MBA? I'm eyeing it since its a 1 year program and only costs $50k. I'm kinda exploring my options now.
I can't say I know anything/much about Pace or its MBA program. I see more people or stuff in general from St. John's, Hofstra, Rutgers, and others like that. I think I see more about Baruch to be honest (in a positive way). Not sure if that is really good or bad about Pace, just don't know.
