Bentley University or Babson College for investment banking

Hi, i am currently a junior looking for college options in the boston area and I have decided to pursue a career in Investment Banking, I was wondering which university is better for IB, Babson college or Bentley University

Hey man - Bentley student here. I can tell you that if you want to recruit for IB both schools you’ve listed suck. BC has good placement and is also just an awesome place to go to school, try to apply and get in here. If not, would recommend looking at some decent semi targets if your grades aren’t stellar (think: IU, Penn State, SMU). Bentley is great if you want to work for a public accounting firm (Big4) but just not a feeder for IB whatsoever. Best of luck in your search

Second this ^ (incoming senior at Bentley). Overall great school for landing a corporate finance job. We have decent alumni currently in Investment Banking, but they're spread pretty thin (some didn't even start off in IB right after college). You'd have to be in the 1% of your grad class to land a great investment banking or related (Research, S&T) big bank internship from Bentley. Our school's recognition is slowly improving, but you'll still have to work incredibly hard (including sacrificing your social life) to break into IB. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
