Best International brand names and recruiting

Many of the Top 15 schools dont exactly have international pedigree when it comes to recruiting. If someone were to make Tiers of B-schools with respect to their international prestige and recruiting options, then how would that 'ranking' look like?

I am very interested in Emerging Markets/Asia region so wanted to know a little about this.

LBS and INSEAD have large intl. student/alumni numbers and can be good options if you intend to work in Europe. If you are focused on a specific country, then it MAY make sense to go to school in that country. But other than that, it makes no sense to choose a non-US school over a T15, let alone T10. Top US schools are far superior and the only foreign schools in the world that are equivalent to T15 are LBS and INSEAD. And all US schools have significant numbers of alums in big financial centers (London, Hong Kong, Shanghai etc) And if you wanna work for a global company, you can get jobs from US schools esp firms like McKinsey Bain etc

LBS and INSEAD would be around No. 10. Better than Ross, Duke, Darden etc but slightly below T9.

LBS/INSEAD are easier to get into than comparable US schools so can be good options if you don't get in. LBS does have strong connections in Dubai/HK. But don't forget, so do a lot of US schools. Take Columbia for instance. Do you really think Columbia has no connections in Dubai or HK? They have more than enough. And a big factor is accessibility of alums so take that into account too. A school like Kellogg or Tuck will give you more opportunities to connect. Tuck esp. And, if it's H/S, forget about it. There are no better schools in the world in 2014 and there won't be even in 2030. Short of being a UAE prince, I will take HBS over almost anything else to give me an edge anywhere in the world.

What is your post mba goal? Your choice of industry is also imp. If you told me you wanna do consulting. It makes no diff. that you attend school in US. MBB will place you where ever in the world you wanna go. If you are fortunate enough to get hired.
