Best New Club/Society To Start At University To Increase Chances of IB Job

Hi everyone,

I currently am a Freshman Finance major at a top 50 school on the east coast of the U.S. My end goal during undergrad is to get a IB offer, but coming from a non-target, obviously I'd like to increase my chances as much as possible.

I feel like starting a finance based club/society will give me leadership and executive experience to be able to talk about in the interview room. Along with my friend who i'd like to found the club with, I feel like we also have decent amount of passion towards finance and leading as it is, so we're really leaning towards starting something. At my current school, however we already have the general finance clubs you'd think of: finance society, investment banking society, private equity society, venture capital society, the whole thing. I just wanted to post on here to see what club should I try to start that would give me the added bonus of helping me the most when interviewing with banks. Does any niche in finance do just fine because I'm displaying leadership?

Ideas I have include: Data Analytics Society, Financial Management Society, Quantitative Finance Society, Investment Analysis Society, Microfinance Society, and Impact Investment Society (emphasis towards social &/or enviormmental impact).

Again, what club should an undergrad student start (**that doesn't exist already at their current school**) that would help them the most for IB?
