Best one year Masters for FO IB?

I am debating between Uva MS Global Commerce, Duke MMS, Vanderbilt/Boston College/ Texas Msfs?

I am currently a senior at a non-target. I am studying finance, and I currently have a 4,0 GPA. I am graduating in 3 years and the current recruiting at my campus isn't too promising. So I figured I could take the 4th year to pursue a one year masters and maybe propel myself to better career choices. Any advice would be excellent.

Only go for UVA global commerce program if you're a US citizen. Because international students aren't eligible for OPT(they stay in Charlottesville for 3 months and therefore not eligible for opt). Moreover, international students can't return to Charlottesville from Spain.

I am a US Citizen. Do you think I'd be making a mistake by choosing UVA over Vandy? I like both programs a lot. I just have a bias towards UVA.

Take Vanderbilt. I like the new global commerce program, but you will be overseas for a lot of it and won't have the networking and recruiting ability like you would have by being in the US full time.

UTA would be a good option, but realize you'll have working in Texas as the big momentum push. BC is a fine program, but I think they focus mainly on their PT program vs. FT. UVA is a good program and I like their global masters, but I would caution that this program is really for someone looking for an international experience and who can handle having a non-traditional career entry point.

Furthermore, this global masters is specifically not focusing on international students. It is the brain child of the dean and has a lot of people behind it. I wouldn't look at this as an international student cash cow like some other programs.

ask yourself how you can recruit and meet employers at Charlottesville when you're overseas?!
