Better Career Progression for MBA profile? Corporate Strategy vs FP&A

Hello - I am weighing two career opportunities, which one would be better suited for a M7 MBA program?

Background:

- 1 year as a corporate sales analyst

- 3 years as a junior level Corporate Strategy consultant

Options:

A) Senior Financial Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis function (typical FP&A job responsibilities) at a F100 Industrials Company

B) Senior Corporate Strategy Consultant - typical Strategy responsibilities at a top 3 Big Bank.

Please let me know which option would be better suited for a competitive M7 profile. Note, I do not have any corporate finance / quant roles in my background, would it be wise to diversify my experience? Outside of my entry level analyst role, I've been pure Strategy.

Also, my most recent GMAT was 630, I am working hard to get this up to at least 700.
