Booth vs Kellogg
Which one is better for PE recruiting? Is it worth going to either as a platform to continue a PE career or not worth it if it’s not HSW?

Career Resources
Booth easily has the better PE program purely due to being more financed focus. That being said, MFPE is not happening. Have seen UMM. Tbh I would leverage the Booth name to land a MM that is rapidly growing. I truly believe VP seats at those MM are the best seats to be in. And that is absolutely doable from Booth.
Any examples of these funds?
I would look at the team pages of Chi PE firms (see below link for a decent list).
Overall, it depends on the firm, but both schools are well-represented across MM PE in Chicago. Some firms have more Kellogg people (Waud, Water Street, Shore Capital) and other firms have more Booth people (Vistria, Pritzker, Wynnchurch).
Some firms (MDP, GTCR, Linden) seem to favor HSW, but even those firms have a few Booth / Kellogg people.
