BU Summer Term vs Cornell
I am currently a high school junior with a strong interest in finance (more specifically HF's) as a career choice. My top school choices are Cornell's AEM program, UT Business Honors Program, and NYU Stern. I currently have a 3.93 UW/4.3 Weighted GPA with a 35 on the ACT. I was wondering if taking a Financial Accounting Course along with a Investment Banking course (prereq for this course is corporate finance which I have previously taken online) at Boston University in the summer will help my chances at these colleges as it shows I have an interest in both finance and education. Both of these courses count for credit and are core requirements for finance concentrations at most colleges. Another option I have is to take a high school business summer program at Cornell. Although this option seems to make more sense, the course is an introductory course and includes topics that I have already learnt about. Which of these options, if any, would look attractive on a college application to a business program?
