Can I break into IB or PE after an MSc in Economics & Policy of Energy and the Environment (UCL)?

Hi all,
Starting the MSc in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment (EPEE) at UCL this September and wondering how realistic it is to break into IB from there.

Background:

  • BSc in International Management with Spanish from Bath.
  • Internship in market intelligence (commodities trading – oil/refined products).
  • Shipping broking internship last summer.
  • Bloomberg Sales & Analytics (Spanish-speaking) internship this summer.

I’m mainly interested in energy IB, infra IB, or coverage groups focused on natural resources/energy transition. Open to project finance or infra PE down the line too.

Would appreciate any honest advice — how tough would the move be and what could help stand out?
