Can I get a Master in Finance in top-tier in Europe?
My ug is in Asia (top 5 in Asia), study Econ and Finance. GPA 3.5/4.3, GMAT 730, chairperson of school investment society(not sure if that is useful), 4 internship experience (one Chinese bank, one UK bank, two Boutique IBank). I am
aiming the top Master in Europe, better target school of BB and wanna stay in Europe for few years maybe. Any recommendations regarding on School or city? Many thanks!!

any ppl can share experience?
What school are you aiming for?
I think you have a reasonable shot, however, there are many applicants from Asian region to European Business Schools (as well as many applicants overall), so the competition is stiff. Are you going to apply for the 2020/2021 academic year or 2021/2022?
Hi thx for ur reply bro! I am aiming LSE, HEC Paris and Bocconi. Any more recommendations if I would like to stay in London after master or summer intern in London during the master? I am applying for 2021/22. but are there any difference?
I asked because it would be quite late for the 2021 intake, even assuming that you already passed GMAT.
Strategy of applications for MSc in Finance is the same as of applications to banks. Apply anywhere possible and just see where you get the best offer (admission and potential scholarships). Based on that decide what school do you pick.
Any of those that you mentioned should position you well for Investment Banking.
You can find MFin rankings online (Financial Times, etc.) which will give you a good picture of what's out there. Keep in mind that the place you want to end up working in will likely dictate which schools you apply to. London might be the easiest to work in assuming you do not speak another EU language. As such, LSE, LBS, Imperial, Bocconi, HEC, etc. would probably be best suited, and based on your stats & experience you should be able to get into one of these. There was a thread a couple weeks ago about MFins with a strong focus on perception in London - I would suggest you try to find it.
Sounds awesome! How abt the MiF in some less popular schools? are they also target schools of London ibank while have relatively lower admission requirements? like St Gallen, Frankfurt School of fina&mgmt, Stockholm, etc. I know German too but not as proficient as English. And LBS I thought they only accept ppl with few years of working exp. :(( Thx bro!!
LBS has a program for people with smaller or no experience. It is called MSc in Financial Analysis.
It would me more difficult to recruit from other schools. They are also a target/semi-target but more aimed for regional offices or specific banking teams in London (e.g. Frankfurt offices, Nordic desk in London etc). I'd definitely apply to them as well, but think about them as a (still great!) back-up option.
