Canadian Undergrad, want to get into Energy industry in Alberta. Stay in Calgary or aim for target school?

Current UCalgary student, 2nd year, 3.7 GPA so far. If I'm interested in heading into the energy industry should I just stay here and network in person as much as I can + local relevant internships or attempt a transfer to Ivey/Queens/McGill for the target school advantage?
