Cancel study abroad to save GPA?
Got blown out of the water this sem. Falling from like a 3.8 to low 3.5s. Already accepted an offer at one of my top IB choices. Currently a junior. Wanted to spend a semester abroad next year, but now it's looking like a bad idea since I wouldn't be able to use that semester to recover my GPA. I'm more interested in A2A than PE, but idk for sure, so I would need to keep my options open.
I feel like I'd never get an opportunity to spend an extended time abroad again, so it feels sucky to cancel it. I really don't want to cancel, but would it be the best decision at this point?
Can you just take your classes remote and live abroad? I did that during COVID and it was fun as hell
No. Also I did the math, and I don't think it's mathematically possible for me to get a 3.7+ anymore unless I were to overload which would probably just make things worse. Will probably shoot for around at least a 3.6.
if he hadn’t secured a full time offer post graduation would you still recommend he go abroad?
