CFA® for Structured Finance

Hi everyone, I recently decided to register for the CFA® Lev I exam. I am with a Big4 as auditor, but I might get a job in structured finance, which is a field I worked in the past. I decided to take the CFA® for my own benefit to enhance my financial culture and because one day I would like to be an equity analyst or work in asset management. Is the CFA® qualification completely useless for structured finance?
Thank you
