Chances at HEC/LBS/LSE
Hi Everyone!
I am a central European male with internship at MBB, BB M&A, relevant PE/PC firm in London and a top 5% degree from a European semi target. I scored 645 on the gmat (88th percentile) and am applying to LBS MFA, HEC MIF, LSE MIF.
How are my chances of getting admitted?
Thanks for any input!
strong ones :)
Thanks for the quick reply! So no need to retake the gmat? (As long as i get into one of the choice I would be fully satisfied)
Hey, yes those are the 3 best in europe so you should be. The motivation letter will play a key role :) Considering GMAT do it again if you think you can get better :)
GMAT is very low. Recommend a retake.
LBS average last year was 696 (around 635 in the new one) and HEC recommends 645/55. may I ask why you think so?
Don’t retake if ur quant was above 70 percentile. Hec for instance usually can’t get past a score below 70 percentile. I know a guy that got like 98th percentile overall but didn’t get in due to weak quant. I think LSE or lbs would take u though. If quant is good u get into all of them. I got into all of them with weaker profile
Quant was not great around 68th I think. However Data was 98th, you think that could make up for it?
Yes I’d say that should be enough considering ur profile.
Thank you, rly appreciate the insight!
