Cheap vs Expensive College Undergrad

Hello,

I've gotten some college decisions back (but by April 1st, I should know the rest). I applied mostly to LACs and low tier universities for business/econ. I haven't gotten a lot of responses from LACs yet.

Here's the list: IU Kelley DA (Honors, $11k/yr scholarship, but OOS pretty expensive?) Fordham (not going, too expensive, no scholarships) Villanova EA Baruch (waiting on Honors College decision, where tuition will be free, and if not, will "move" to NY to get instate tuition) UConn (Honors, in state, Scholarship (Tuition now $19k a year including everything)

My parents really want me to consider UConn because it's cheaper tuition. I really want to attend an LAC, but based on financial awards I've gotten from these colleges, there's no way we will get any financial aid, so it will be pricey. My parents are also making me take out loans if I were to attend a school that can cost $70k a year. They made a deal with me that they will help me afford 50% of the cost and I would pay the other 50%. This means I will be taking out lots of loans, so do I consider a cheap school like UConn or Baruch where debt won't be an issue in the future? Or do I consider a school like Colgate where I could obtain a better experience and possibly a higher paying job, but drown in debt?

What is the right decision financially in 20 years time? Thanks your for help!
