Claremont McKenna vs. Dartmouth for Wall Street IB

Hi all, I’ve never made a post here before but lurked for a while.

I’m a high school senior interested in eventually going into IB after I graduate college. I’m not just interested for the pay or the models and bottles shit or whatever (though it’s certainly a plus) - I’ve done the reading, done the gut check, all that, and I’m genuinely interested in the work. I’m shooting for East Coast/NYC out of college.

With that in mind, I’m down to the last week I’ve got to choose a school, and I’ve narrowed my options down to 2 - Claremont McKenna and Dartmouth. Both are places where I think I’d be really happy, and they’re pretty much equivalent in cost. I was hoping the monkeys here could provide some insight into what advantages/disadvantages both schools might have with regards to career placement and advancement in NYC IB, particularly BB or EB banks. Thanks in advance!

honestly not sure of McKenna network, but Dartmouth alumni go to bat for each other... also never bad to be at an Ivy League. I would take Dartmouth, especially considering East Coast -> NYC.

Dartmouth, without a question. On the East Coast, Dartmouth goes toe-to-toe against any other top target, even places like Wharton for some firms.
