College list for a feeder hs senior

I’m a senior finalizing my college list looking for some feedback. I go to a school that feeds into a lot of the colleges below and have great grades/test scores/ecs. My city preferences after I graduate are NYC, then Chicago, then SF. I can only apply to 18 schools btw.

Targets:

Harvard

Yale

Princeton

Columbia

Wharton

Dartmouth

Brown

UChicago

Northwestern

Duke

Stanford

MIT

Safeties:

Georgetown

Michigan

UC Berkeley

UVA

Colby

Middlebury

Yeah so no matter how good your app or high school is, none of those are safeties.

In the kindest way possible, apply to some real safeties that have acceptance rates from 30-50%. It may seem like a waste but if you end up getting into nothing, you’ll be screwed. It won’t take much work but just do it.

Otherwise, this is a good list and it’s best to apply to all the top schools so you have the best chance of getting into at least 1. If you’re very confident, I say REA somewhere. It leaves your options open even if you get in. If you’re not as confident, ED Cornell or Columbia and ED2 UChicago, or just straight up ED UChicago. Those both will give you huge chances.
