Columbia or UCLA MFE?
I have been fortunate enough to have been accepted into both programs. Have received some aid for both, and the cost is about the same.
My background: Bachelor's in math from UC Berkeley. IB Summer Internship. Fixed income advisory firm for 1 year (both in LA area)
Goal career: quant work/trading, OR if possible the analytics department of a sports team (also goal to stay in LA area)
I am leaning heavily towards UCLA, because I live in Santa Monica. I feel like its rare to find quant/trading work in LA which is why I'm still unsure. I have spent a few months in NY and don't like the work culture or the city.
Which one should I take? Thank you for any help!
I would try UCLA MFE
