Corp Dev > Corp Dev: part time or full time MBA?

Hello fellow monkeys

I'm currently in Corp Dev and want stay in Corp Dev post MBA. Do Corp Dev employers care if I went to Booth/Kellogg part time?

Do Corp Dev employers participate in OCR or have MBA summer internships?

I will appreciate any advice.

Do you plan on staying with your current employer? It might be worth looking for company sponsorship for PT to help with costs.

I think it depends on the company. Some companies prefer people to stay working while getting the MBA, some want you to leave (and maybe not come back). I can only think of a handful of corp dev teams that have MBA summer internships or post on OCR. The majority of "corp dev" positions involve some sort of financial leadership rotational aspect and does not guarantee a placement in corp dev after your 2-3 years of rotating through BO/MO positions (controller, treasury, etc.).
