Degree dillema

Hi, I am unsure about which degree I would want to study. I wish to work in venture capital, but I do not know if that is surely the path I want to take. I am doubting between BSc Applied Mathematics at Groningen and BSc Econometrics and Economics at Rotterdam.

P.S. I do not speak Dutch

Just in terms of subject matter and putting location aside for now as a start, if you want to be an investor in VC then best may be to study economics/investing/finance. If you want to be an operator in VC then maybe it’s best to study applied math/comp sci as that may be more useful for running the standard VC company which is generally tech/comp sci oriented. Just a thought. Good luck

For VC, I would suggest to study something economics/finance related. If you want to go to a private school you can check out IE Madrid, WHU, HHL, or the London schools. For state-owned universities, I would recommend CBS, Rotterdam and St Gallen.

If forgot to mention I had an additional degree programme, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Leiden. Is it good or is Erasmus the only way to go?
