Diversity in European Masters

Okay fellow monkeys, here's this doubt. I've seen multiple target and top European MiF programs such as HEC, RSM and most British schools, that have this Diversity Bonus let's say, in which they kind of want to go full multicultural and have people from very rare or different countries so they can say then, "we have students from +120 nationalities", OK cool, much better then the other type of diversity i guess.

How does that really work or affect? To which extent is it a plus for someone who is from a Very small state for example (think San Marino, Andorra, etc.)???
