Durham ECON or UCL History for IB?
I've got an offer for both, not sure what to go for. UCL has the London prestige and networking but isn't related at all to banking. I have many internships already and would take many econ modules at UCL. But would Durham be the easier option? What do you all think?
Take UCL, course doesn't matter
Would also caveat that your "many internships" prob dont hold too much weight in comparison to a summer analyst role. but ofc will massively help in apps for SA
UCL, don’t even think about it
Eco over history always , the days of degree subject being irrelevant are gone
??? on what basis? i'm from the LSE but I have lots of friends with solid placements from the history course, and a bunch of random courses like the BASc, information management for business, and the school of eastern european studies... econ is ideal but UCL is way better than durham for placing into the city irrespective of degree
