Elite Boutique MBA Interviews?

*yes i know eb is a cringe term, but talking about recruiting for centerview/qatalyst/evr/pwp/laz etc. for mba associate internships/ft.

for these boutiques, are your mba interviews very technical, just the same as undergrad interviews, or do they focus more on fit?

are lateral interviews at assoc. level super technical for boutiques as well? like lots of case studies/modeling tests or is it deal-exp questions mainly?

i know bulge brackets like gs/ms are usually more fit, but that comes with a 25% comp discount, or at least 100-150k less every year, and it grows.

if they are just as technical as undergrad interviews, what resources did your school recommend for prep? there seems to be a lot of variance and it seems hard to prepare for these given there are a lot of surprise multi-level questions at least at the undergrad level.
