Emory for Recruiting as a Transfer

Hi guys! I was recently admitted to emory as a soph transfer and was wondering how worth it would be to attend emory? I'd have to pay around 10k a year, and as a sophmore would to apply to goizueta for junior year. Would it be worth it for someone trying to recruit to NYC?

Thank you!

I'm transferring from a nontarget think (Baruch/Northeastern/Fordham) and am hoping to aim for BB/EBs. I've also gained a recent interest in the world of consulting as well, but would love to secure an offer from a place like Centerview.

I would make the transfer. The floor at Emory is pretty similar to the ceiling at the other schools you mentioned. If you network hard, EBs/BB/Top MMs are easily attainable, especially if you are diversity. Also, if possible, take corporate finance at your current school because corporate at Emory is notoriously difficult and they accept transfer credit for it.

Compared to every other Emory b-school class besides maybe strategic, it’s difficult. Did you take it online? Everyone I’ve spoken to who took it online said it’s super easy.

no took it in person. comparatively yeah maybe more difficult, though the bschool curve really diminishes any effect difficulty has on your grade. sure other cores's content might be easier but the same % of kids get A's, A-s, etc so it really doesnt matter.
