English Teacher GPA

I graduated from a Public Ivy back in May 2011 and have spent my time teaching English overseas.During my time teaching english, I spent my free time taking graduate economic courses at a local university. Since my contract will be ending in 2013 and I want to begin applying for graduate school now. I am looking to get a MSF or MSE. However, I have some serious hurdles.

My hurdles are my cumu is a 2.5 but my major is 3.4.( Major Political Science Minor : Japanese and Computer Science) I have no work experience in the finance field since I spent my undergrad doing research, going to conferences, and getting published. Finally, I took the GRE and got a 300. But I will try again in October. Now what I would like to know is if I should apply to Bocconi.

DrPeterVenkmanYou got a 300 GRE!? Are you joking?

What is an MSE?

If you kill the GMAT then you might have a shot at some places. But essentially you need to get the highest GMAT score possible.

MSE = Master of Science in Economics. Furthermore, most places that have checked take GRE or GMAT. Im going to stick with the GRE because I have been studying for that. As for the previous score of 300, well that was with only 2 weeks of studying. With a months worth I will do better. Also, what places should I even look at? BTW, do you know about Boconni?

pretty good english majors known as a hard major especially when they have to study for 2 hours and smoking pot for 40 a week

You guys jelly my job gives me mad money, a free apartment, and free airfare. I would be too if I had to spend my time trolling forums. Is anyone going to actually answer the question?

Well majoring in political science and computer science, as well as, minoring in Japanese at the same time can do alot to your GPA while trying to pay for college. By the thrid year I changed the computer science major into a minor to savage my gpa. My poli sci and Japanese grades are fine. Do you know about Bocconi? Should I even waste time applying for graduate school and look for job related to the field of study I want?

One of my good friends in high school left McCombs for Bocconi. He's there now and from the looks of his facebook pics, is having the time of his life.

from the little that i researched about Bocconi, you're going to have a hard time getting in with sub-par grades.
