ESSEC vs EDHEC
Hey WSO! ESSEC vs. EDHEC. Which school would you choose for an exchange semester? I am studying Finance as my major and the goal is IBD.

As a counterpoint, I've been seeing a lot more EDHEC people as of late in incoming classes not sure how much weight that would have.
In Paris they won't care of you're from HEC, ESSEC or EDHEC. Students from all three are seen in the same way. Outside Paris is a different matter. But ESSEC > EDHEC
Sorry, that's wrong. In Paris more than anywhere else the reputation and the ranking is quite clear. HEC > ESSEC > ESCP >> EM LYON >= EDHEC .. and then nothing for a long time
I agree with the rankings. What I mean is if you walk into Societe Generale/BNP Paribas tomorrow HEC will not give you more advantage over ESSEC or ESCP.

Wrong- Edhec has campuses in Paris, Singapore, Lille, London and Nice. Just the main campus is in Lille.
Of course, but the vasy majority of students are in Lille. So, Paris is just a separate Campus for EDHEC.
