Finance career advice

Hi everyone!

I’m graduating next year with a degree in Finance from NYU Shanghai. However, my post-graduation plans are uncertain. In my home country, there is a mandatory two-year military service, and as a result, my passport is only valid until graduation. This restriction prevents me from applying for full-time jobs after graduation, and I’m unsure about the best path forward.

Would it be a good idea to pursue a Master’s in Finance after completing my military service in order to break into investment banking/consulting? If so, should I consider programs in the U.S. or Europe?
