Georgetown vs. Notre Dame - Which is a Better School for IB Recruiting?
Wanted to hear everyone's take on which school they think is better for IB recruiting? Personally from my experience, I think Georgetown is a better school for anyone looking to go into IB as I have noticed more kids being placed at top firms on the street, but I may be wrong. Would love to hear your opinion
The difference between the two is insignificant- both place very well into IBD. As long as you get a 3.7+, prep well for interviews and network, you will be fine from either place. This decision will come down more to your personal preferences. Ask yourself do you care about having a large football team/culture (ND >>>> Gtown football), is weather a big factor for you (DC >>>> South Bend), do you care about being in a city or in the middle of nowhere (DC >>), things like that.
Second the above, the difference is splitting hairs and you'll have a great chance from either. Visit both schools and decide which one you like the best and could see yourself at.
Got into both schools and ultimately chose ND. As already said above really comes down to fit IMO. I felt much more comfortable at ND during my accepted student day visit, and I thought Mendoza did a much better job of overviewing the business program/seemed much more at the forefront of the institution than McDonough.
ND pretty goated for top chicago IB
