Hi, I'm looking for a good computer software with thousands of problems. Something like Schweser Q bank / Stalla Passmaster if anyone has taken the CFA exams.
I'm looking for something that shows hints / tips and a solution for each problem in each problem.
I have the Manhattan GMAT books and some kind of crappy software that they offer online. But, looking for something better.
Also, I mainly just have down time at the office (sometimes none, other days a lot), and some sort of problem bank would be nice to work on in my off time. At my desk. I can't exactly break out any GMAT books or any intense type of studying as that would look unprofessional, but I can work on some problems here and there on the screen if anyone has recommendations.
Magoosh is solid - though not great for super hard problems if you're regularly scoring over 730 and want to break into the 750-770 range. It'll absolutely get you up to 720/730 though. I also had some downtime at work and wanted to do 5-10 questions at a time without breaking all the books. I have an office with a closable door though, so it's a little different, but still, it was subtle and easy enough. I think this is what you're looking for.
Target Test Prep (TTP) is amazing for quant - it'll get you up to near perfect scores if you follow their lessons. If you need a little extra on quant, this is your deal. Same idea as Magoosh (thousands of questions in a question bank) but it's organized a little different. Good luck.
I used Magoosh exclusively and did the GMAC cat tests every other weekend until I got up to like 720 (my verbals were always 40-42 right from the beginning, but my quant was somewhere around 44-47). Then I added TTP and broke through the quant wall and started scoring 49-51 in every CAT test. I scored a 750 on the actual test (50Q/42V)

yeah I have a large glass office but people pop in and out like crazy sometimes. At times it's quiet, but other times people just show up and throw papers on my desk with issues and questions in a frenzy.
It's quite a contrast to this other firm I worked at with a bunch of introverts that would IM you and say 'can I stop by your desk/office in 30min to talk about XYZ excel model etc... '
Makes things interesting I guess though.

Ha, I know company culture is so goofy like that. Just wanted to make the point that magoosh isn't the same as breaking out text books but it doesn't look like capiq or yahoo finance, depending on what your workplace is like.
You can do it too! Just takes time and diligence. my biggest GMAT tip is not to let your pride cause you to underestimate the test. Just go back to basics, start at the beginning, and study your ass of.

If you're already at the 700 level, Jeff Sackmann's books and list of 1,800 math questions are great for getting the little bump to 700+. I also like the daily math questions posted on GMAT Club (highly suggestion browsing that site daily).
