Going to Fuqua/Ross over Wharton/HBS

If my goal is MBB, is it possible to actually be at an advantage coming out of Fuqua/Ross as opposed to HBS/Wharton? The top employers for Fuqua 2015 were Deloitte and then MBB in that order. Now, I know that MANY more students out of H/W will get MBB, but I would argue that its a subset of the already top tier talent pool, not to mention that many HBS grads end up at Deloitte/EY/Accenture (the top employers after MBB). Those tier 2 hbs consultants are still very impressive, but EVERYONE from HBS obviously can't get MBB. Now, if those "average" HBS students were at a place like Ross/Fuqua, they would most likely be superstars and would on paper be more impressive than most of their peers. So, I would argue that these tier-2 HBS students could easily land MBB if they were simply at a less selective (but still an MBB target) school? Thoughts?

care to explain a bit?

MBB doesn't have quotas for schools. So when you interview you aren't being compared to others at your school, you are being compared to their standard of hiring. So once you start interviewing it's all about how you handle the cases. HBS and Wharton make getting an interview slightly more easy because it's an added bump to the resume over Fuqua/Ross. But the main thing is that it makes your network down the line in consulting, among your clients, and in your exit options that much stronger.

if you're a superstar, you should be able to get MBB from fuqua/ross but you're not thinking long term here. HBS will give you a much better network/brand for the rest of your career as will Wharton to a lesser extent. I actually don't think it's insane to choose Fuqua/Ross over Wharton if you have a strong preference and scholarship money, but choosing one of those over HBS is insane.
