My first year at a top business school just got underway. Between orientation and syllabus week, they weren't exactly clear on grading policy. I've heard that this business school, amongst other top schools, have a grading curve. Is it true and what is the distribution like?

How the hell are you supposed to get this question answered if you don't specify the school?
Okay, is there a curve a Georgetown MSB? Also, it was just a general curiosity to see how other programs operated. I've never heard of a curve when I was applying to schools but I heard a bunch of places have one apparently.
do you not have GPA non-disclosure policies? I mean a moment of truth for MBAs without some grade disclosure, is that it's nearly never a top MBA. I'm sorry if it's difficult to hear.
At my school there is a curve for all classes and we can disclose grades, although very few employers ask.

What school and masters program?
I'd rather keep that anonymous, in case any recruiters are reading this (don't want to damage the reputation of a school I might be graduating from). It isn't one of the "top" schools though, just a regional one.
Good call keep things anonymous ZACH HOFFMAN. There's absolutely no way a recruiter could track down ZACH HOFFMAN's school from this post, so you're probably good.

I've been in grad school for nearly 5 years and taken 20+ classes, so this is my wheelhouse. Grad school grades are generally higher than you'll see in undergrad. You'll get a B/B- if as long as you submit all the assignments, even if you fail miserably in every exam. I believe the reason for this is because admissions has already drawn from the top of bell curve to make the graduate student population. Professors recognize that virtually every student in the class is smart and successful, but the grading is a tool to differentiate degrees of aptitude rather than whether or not you're a complete dolt.
Ok, bc before the curve, the class was pretty much a bell curve, with most of the class getting an 80%, a few getting 90s, 70s, and below. Everyone above a 66% was supposed to get a B or better, but I got an A- with a 78%, and there were only 10 students between me and the 66% cutoff. This is according to the statistics sheet he gave us after the end of the term.
