GS Academies London - open to men? (no mention of women ONLY)
Previously, these academies used to be called "Women Trader Academies" or "Women in Banking" academies.
This year, they are called "Trader Academy", sponsored by Women Network.
I'm confused because it doesn't say whether men are allowed to apply as well. No info is given on this.
Does anyone have any insight?
Based on the most helpful WSO content, the naming change from "Women Trader Academies" to "Trader Academy" sponsored by the Women Network might suggest a broader inclusivity. However, there is no explicit information provided in the context about whether men are allowed to apply. Historically, such programs have been targeted at women to promote diversity, but the lack of a clear "women-only" label this year could indicate a shift.
If you're interested, it would be best to directly check the application details or reach out to the program organizers for clarification.

Bump
I’m pretty sure on the job description is says “sponsored by the women’s network “ or something like that. So maybe open to anyone on paper but only women in reality?
It used to be v clear but now it's very vague. eurgh.
Lets face it, it's still a diversity programme, but you can just play their game and apply as a women. Following their backwards logic, anyone can be a women these days.
Is the Private Investing Academy in September supposed to be a women's event too? Apps closed last week but I didn't see it say anything about women anywhere
The website says it's sponsored by the women's network but the official listing makes no mention of it.
It's very confusing.
Agreed -- very bizarre. On the linkedin listing it doesn't say anything either.
Has anyone heard back?
HVs sent out last week.
Please DM me about this
Anyone done the hirevue and would be able to give insight into the questions asked?
Anyone else get invited to HV and just didnt get sent the link?
What is the % of people on average who get a HV from Goldman? estimates would be great
Fucking hell that HV is intense
the questions aren't hard, it's the layering to each question and sometimes 3 bullet points in 2 minutes.
I was sweating like a right dog through all of that.
Yeah that hirevue was the worst
Lmao that was awful. Stumbled over my words the whole time
Anyone heard back after HV?
