Haas query for alumni / currently enrolled / enrolling

I recently combined my "vacation time" to make a four-day weekend out of a trip to the San Fran / Palo Alto area for a wedding. My lady and I were taking a redeye flight out at 11 PM back to the east coast and had a good six hours to kill on Sunday. We decided to drive up to UC Berkeley and check out the school and area. In short, I was very impressed with the area, weather, and the campus blew me away (I went to Vandy undergrad, which is pretty nice, and it doesn't even compare). The Haas facilities themselves appear to be quite nice as well.

Obviously, this is a cursory and superficial analysis of a business school, hence my query here. If you attended or are attending Haas, I would appreciate a better idea of what the school is like. Caliber of professors, teaching environment, social life, and (most importantly) traditional exit opportunities post-MBA would all be interesting to me.

I have taken the GMAT and done well, and I have considered business school as IB is killing me, but I am in no rush to attend. I am also not looking for advice on where to go, I just want more information about one school, so hopefully no XXX vs. YYY discussions as there are already too many on this forum.
