Harvard Business School email convention?

Hey guys,

I received an unsolicited email from someone wanting to talk with me about recruiting and PE, etc. The email says he is a second year MBA student from HBS and is sent from what looks to be a HBS email address but I'm not sure.

I was wondering if anyone can confirm what the email convention is for HBS before I set-up a time to meet/talk with the guy? Thanks for any help.

Regards

Pretty sure it's first initial + last name @hbs.edu. Have also seen people with regular @harvard.edu addresses - perhaps they give you both.

while you are at business school you can pick up any number of emails. at my school there were five "official" formats.
