HBS/W chances maybe Sloan/Booth/CBS

Hey guys,

I'm currently finishing up my masters at MIT Sloan (MFin) but am considering applying to deferred MBA programs.

Stats:

  • GPA: 4.7/5.0 @ MIT Sloan;
  • GPA: 3.7/4 @ top 20 school (10- 15 on US news) math/cs degree
  • GRE: 170/170 Quant; 165/170 Verbal
    • I haven't studied for it, but could take it again if necessary after studying
    • Seems to be above most median/avgs except GSB (only verbal part but I won't be applying there)

Background:

Goals

  • Joining a prop trading firm or a hedgefund
  • Trying to hedge my risk by getting a business school seat
  • will probably be working on an energy product, so I want to exit to a energy fund or maybe energy corporate

Thanks in advance
