Help Me Find a Path Into Banking from MBA

I currently work as a project manager in residential construction and have a degree in construction management. 2 1/2 YOE currently. I have worked on the development team of a $200M condo development too.

I am starting Booth PT MBA this winter and want to transition into IB. I think I would be most interested in a consumer industry group to get the most generalized experience and I am interested in ag, food, and CPG. I do have RE experience but don't want to get pigeonholed in RE.

What is the most advantageous path? Leverage my RE experience and shoot for BB? Shoot for BB but not wanting RE? MM consumer group seems attainable for sure given my midwestern city, connections, and the Booth program.

Any general input on IB RE is appreciated.
