help picking a masters degree??

I will be graduating this spring with a degree in finance. I am an athlete with 1 more year available to play. I am looking at graduate schools and have a hard time choosing between an MBA or a Master in Finance. I obviously wont be able to finish either in 2 semester but the MS in Finance I can do in 3 semesters. My goal is to get more experience this summer and then go to graduate school for 1 year and start one of the degrees. What do you think would be the best to do?? Want to start as an analyst but over the years work my way into private equity or hedge funds. If I get a MS in Finance will companies want me to go back and get a MBA as well after? Just looking for some professional opinion.

It makes no sense to do the MBA right now until you have some work experience. Ive been lead to believe an MSF is for people who don't have much finance experience yet. Why not start recruiting and get a finance job and then go from there.

Also how good are you at your sport? recruited athlete? I would talk to some coaches and see if they have any pull into an MBA and if will still be eligible to play in 2-3 years/
