Help! UT Austin BHP or IU Kelley for IB/ER?
Both are similar costs and I really like both choices. Which one places better in asset management/IB/Equity Research? Thanks for the help.

Hi djdj94, the silence is deafening, sorry about that.... Any of the threads below helpful?
If those topics were completely useless, don't blame me, blame my programmers...

I wrote a post on this last night, but 100% BHP. I think BHP is one of the best undergrad business programs. It's below Wharton, but other than that, I think you could make the argument that it's better than UNC KF, UVA McIntire, Berkeley Haas etc. From what I've seen the Finance placement is great, even outside of Texas and I've seen kids go to top BB/EBs and then onto the good buyside shops as well.
IU Kelley isn't a bad option, but I think of IU as being very much a one trick pony when it comes to banking recruiting. If you get into the banking workshop and if you can be successful, the top banks will take a few kids from IU each year. The problem is, outside of banking, the placement is weak and the name recognition won't go as far as UT. Plus, I believe you need to apply to get into the workshop, so if you for some reason don't get in, then you're really in a tough position.
Unless you have a unique reason for needing to go to IU, I think BHP is the easy choice.
UT Austin places really well at Moelis. Something, something networking and culture fit.
UT BHP is clearly better than just Kelley regular but this isn't a great point to pick UT over Indiana, since Indiana was the most represented school along with Penn at Moelis this past summer.
