High Schooler Deciding Yale vs Wharton for IB

High school senior here and was fortunate enough to get into both. I want to do IB ---> PE (how unique, I know). Is one school particularly better than the other in terms of recruiting? If not, I'm literally just gonna flip a coin. I don't really care about culture, I'm sure most of the people recruiting for IB at both univerisities are jerk-offs. Any insight is helpful.

Yale easily. Wharton is the most overrated undergrad here. So much competition for spots.

coming back to this, nowadays I wouldn't take wharton unless the choice is outside a T10 tbh if your nondiverse.

Yale 100%. I studied humanities at another great humanities school and went from IB to PE. I view education as a means to understand the world and appreciate the human condition more deeply, rather than spending 4 years to learn an LBO that I learned in 2 weeks. You learn all of the technical knowledge on the job.

Choose the college experience you’d like more. Penn you get more of a state school vibe: Greek life, parties, etc. That’s where I’d go between these two options. If you like a more liberal artsy, eclectic, “nerdier,” student body, go to Yale. Outcomes will depend on you at this point. You won’t be missing out on Goldman Sachs TMT/PJT RSSG/Centerview because you chose Yale over Wharton or vice versa. Good problem to have.
