High School Sophomore College Opportunities
I’m currently a female sophomore in high school from NJ. I want to go to college for Finance with a Comp Sci minor— trying to go into IB or a job in Fintech. I have a 3.4 UW and a 3.9 W GPA and I’m in all honors and AP classes. These are my ECs so far:
-Conducting Finance case study at my high school, planning to present research at a convention later this year -Student Fundraising Ambassador for children’s cancer music therapy organization -Fundraising Director for my school’s music program -8 years of school orchestra— won state championship last year -4 honor societies
I’m looking to branch further into more finance related activities like starting a business or an LLC that’s based on investing. I know I have a long time until college and even applying to jobs but I want to know if something like IB is feasible for someone like me.
