Higher GPA or Computer Science Minor?

hi fellow monkeys, just wondering how i should go about tackling GPA issues

am from a school with a top CS program/dept, but classes are notoriously hard. should i

1) take CS classes but not a minor and list it under relevant coursework on my resume, in doing so ensuring i can maintain a high cumulative GPA (since i can choose to pass/no pass classes)

2) take CS classes and use it to declare a minor, but in doing so possibly getting a lower cumulative GPA (but no effect on major GPA).

is it okay to just list my major GPA on my resume? if yes then option 2 might be better since i get both a minor and can show a high GPA. or do minors barely matter lol

any advice appreciated!
