How can you be grandfathered into the SIE exam so you don't have to take it?
Heard someone got grandfathered into the SIE so they did not have to take it and could skip right to the Series 79, 63. So what are the qualifications to skip the SIE
If your licenses are currently active, you do not have to take the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam. Additionally, if your licenses have expired, you will need to take the SIE before retaking the qualification exams. There are rare cases where you might be able to pursue a waiver, but your firm will likely need to contact FINRA directly in these situations.
