How important is GPA for IB once you get an interview?
I go to a top target school, but my GPA is not very high because I had a very tough first semester of college since a family member of mine passed away. By the end of first semester of sophmore yr, I can get it up to a 3.6. I have a good amount of relevant internships (2 before college at AI startup and wealth management firm, 1 during first sem for M&A research, 1 in the summer at boutique IB firm, and 1 lined up for the fall-spring at another boutique IB firm, although unpaid).
If I can get my gpa up to a 3.6, grind technicals and behaviorals, do I still have a shot at a BB (GS, MS, JPM, etc)?
bump
Once you get the interview I’d say it doesn’t matter much. Getting the interview is the hard part
