Importance of Undergrad Business School? (Michigan LSA)

Hey all,

Just wanted to get some input on my recent situation as I am very confused as to where to go from here. Unfortunately I shot way higher than I should have and did not get into nearly as many options as I wanted for undergrad. Currently, I'm deciding between Michigan LSA (denied from Ross), UC Irvine's Paul Merage School of Business, and Cal Poly SLO's Orfalea College of Business. Now obviously Michigan is much more of a target than the other two but being denied from Ross may put be at a considerable disadvantage as I have heard it's almost impossible to transfer after being denied as a pre-admit. So I guess my question would be how important is being in the undergraduate business school of a school like Michigan and is it still worth the tuition (I'm OOS but receiving some aid)? Also, how challenging is it to break into FO finance jobs from the UC's and is it even worth majoring in something business related? And would it be beneficial for me to attempt to transfer from a state school to a target(my grades in HS weren't great but I had good test scores and great ECs). I'm also waitlisted at NYU(Stern), CMU(Tepper), and UCLA as well as into UIUC if that matters. My end goal is to break into a HF or other AM fields and I am willing to grind as much as necessary to do so.

Thanks for the help!
