Is it worth it to transfer from a non target to a semitarget/target school even if I kill it at the non target?

Incoming freshman to the University of Georgia, where there is a small pipeline to decent banks (around 40-50 kids a year). I feel like I fit in really well socially at UGA and want the SEC college experience, however getting into any IB/PE role is also my dream. If I absolutely crush it at UGA should I stay, or is it worth it to attempt to transfer out to schools like Vanderbilt, Emory, Boston College, ETC. Again, UGA is my dream college experience but I don't know if it's worth it if I can't place into an IB role post grad, as I am 100 percent sure finance is the field I want to go into.

Not familiar with UGA so potentially harmful advice. I imagine they have a selective/exclusive banking club or program that gaining entrance to would increase your break in chances to that of a target school. Speaking from experience, my BIG10 state school had a program of ~20 kids each year that were the only people that got into IB from our school, but they all placed top bucket and I imagine UGA would have a similar set up. So do the year at UGA and see if you get in. If you do, congrats, SEC Frat Star + banking. If you don't, rethink this question after you have done a year of Athens. Thoughts?

Sounds good, the only issue is that the club (Corsair Society places roughly 40 kids a year) is open within Sophomore fall so I wouldn't have a great idea of if I would get in or not even after my freshman year at UGA.

Should I just try to transfer? Most transfer applications are due in March itself.
