Admittedly don't have the slightest clue what gold or silver means, but you'll do just fine coming out of Jefferies or one of its peers.
That said, you generally need more than two years of experience to apply and make it worthwhile. Most will have exited from banking ahead of applying to business school anyways, so in a sense it's not really relevant.

i know exactly what you are referring to
Jefferies is definitely silver. The gold category for banking would be : GS, Evercore, MS....prob missing a coupel
For PE, the gold category would be the MF's
Thanks so much for the answer. I literally can’t find this info anywhere. I have a quick follow up question regarding banks and PE. Is only EBs and Gs/ms/Jpm gold or are all the BBs gold (citi, cs, barc, BofA, db ubs)? For funds, are top mm funds silver or gold and what about umm funds. Outside of the top mm funds, is everything silver or bronze?
Appreciate the response and SBed
Also interested if the BBs outside of the top 3 and if EBs are Gold or silver
Is the BBs outside of gs/ms/jpm considered gold or silver? What about for MM/UMM pe funds? Thx
