i currently work in FP&A for a mjor tech firm. Macc will help you get a job, but if you already have an undergrad degree in acc/fin you should be able to get one without a graduate degree. Once you get in, it's not hard to move up and progress, provided you perform better than all your peers. A CPA/MACC will not be valuable if you're unable to beat your peers. We had 2 CPAs on our team and I got promoted, they didn't.
