Is reapplying for uni worth it?

I currently am a first year at LSE Maths, but I’m more interested in quant trading of the sort. I missed the reapplication date for Oxbridge but am wondering if it’s worth reapplying to Imperial Maths as it seems they are basically on par with LSE for IB/Trad Finance but are way ahead for quant trading. (And there’s little risk as I can stay at LSE if reapplication doesn’t go well so it’s more on is the extra year worth the step up in prestige for quant or not)
